Meet Nikola, our remarkable big boy with a heart of gold and a story of triumph. Raised at Hopeland since he was a puppy, Nikola overcame a heartbreaking start in life, having been found in a horrific situation with his siblings and one ear cruelly cut. Despite his traumatic beginnings, Nikola has grown into a truly exceptional dog. Our big boy weighs between 35-40 kg and reaches a height of 70-73 cm.
He is highly obedient, intelligent, and walks on a leash like a dream. Nikola thrives on training, making him a joy to work with, and he is wonderfully affectionate. His nurturing side shines with young dogs, as he is protective and gentle. However, in moments of excitement, especially when in an enclosure with dogs he loves, Nikola’s enthusiasm can overwhelm them, occasionally scaring them. While he rarely causes harm, his reaction can be intimidating to other dogs.
We believe this stems from too much excitement and a need for more human interaction and diverse experiences. Nikola is a dog who craves purpose and mental stimulation, something only a loving home can truly provide.
