In a quiet, hidden corner of our community, a little dog named Nic has made quite the journey—and he’s ready to find a loving home. Rescued from the shadows of the bushes where he had been living wild and afraid, Nic’s story is one of resilience, bravery, and a heart full of hope.

Recently, the dedicated team at Hopeland received a call about a small dog roaming alone in an area with no one around. When they arrived, they quickly realized that catching Nic wouldn’t be easy. This nervous little soul, weighing only 4 to 5 kg, was terrified and seemingly wild, evading capture at every turn. Despite the challenges, the team was determined to help him, knowing that beneath his fear was a sweet spirit waiting to shine.
After what felt like a lifetime of struggling, they finally managed to catch him and bring him to the safety of Hopeland.

Once Nic arrived at Hopeland, the timid little dog who once hid in the bushes began to blossom in a warm and loving environment. It turns out that Nic is not just a survivor; he’s also a gentle, affectionate companion. His true personality has emerged, revealing a kind heart and a playful spirit that melts the hearts of everyone who meets him.
Unfortunately, Nic was diagnosed with Dirofilaria (heartworms), but therapy has already started and the little one is expected to be back in top shape in a few months.
Now estimated to be around 3 to 4 years old, Nic is ready to find a place he can call home—a place where he can feel love and security for the rest of his life. While he may be shy at first, a little patience and understanding will go a long way in helping this lovely dog open up. With the right family, Nic will show you just how wonderful life can be together.
