Meet Micquel!

Born in 2020, Micquel is a medium-sized dog who knows exactly what he wants. He has a strong personality and an undeniable drive to be the leader of the pack. While this can sometimes lead to challenges with other dogs, especially those who might also have dominant tendencies, Micquel is extremely loyal and obedient to the people he trusts. Once he realizes that he cannot always be the leader, he becomes much more flexible and is easy to manage.

Micquel’s most striking qualities are his loyalty and obedience. He’s an incredibly devoted dog who will bond deeply with his family. He’s highly trainable, especially since he has a deep love for food, making him motivated to learn and eager to please. His clean habits inside make him an even more desirable companion, and he will be an excellent pet in any home, especially one with children.

When it comes to living with other dogs, we recommend that there be no other dominant male dogs in the household. Micquel can sometimes clash with other alpha dogs, so he will thrive in a home where he is the only one who takes charge. He is respectful of people and loves to interact with them, but when it comes to other dogs, it’s best that he has a clear position in the household.

Micquel is known for his sweet, affectionate nature, and he’s as loving as a marshmallow. He enjoys being around people, loves to walk on a leash, and gets along well with children, making him an ideal family pet. His charming personality, combined with his intelligence and eagerness to please, makes him the perfect companion for the right family.

All dogs at Hopeland are vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and neutered when they reach the appropriate age.

Micquel has had quite a journey, going from a malnourished, sickly dog found outside a supermarket to a healthy, happy companion ready for a forever home.
