After 2 years of horror in a shelter where Maura was mistreated,  she luckily was found and taken to Hopeland Shelter for 3 years. However, although Maura was an incredible dog at Hopeland, she had her difficulties to adjust with new volunteers and had a lot of insecurities that were developed from her past. However, this all changed when Pierre and Ava met Maura.  She chose to be with Pierre and Ava and so she went to her new home in France. Now she has now flourished in her new home and is the newest citizen of France!
