Meet Mark!

Born in 2020, Mark is a medium-sized dog with a big heart who loves people more than anything. His journey has not been easy, but his transformation is truly remarkable. When Natasa, Hopeland’s owner, rescued him from a public shelter, Mark was nothing but skin and bones. He was severely emaciated, suffering from leishmaniasis, and had little fur. But with the love and care he received at Hopeland, Mark has made a full recovery. His health is now excellent, and his coat is shiny and beautiful.

Mark stands about 55 cm tall and weighs 25 kg. He is a sweet, affectionate dog who loves to cuddle, play, and receive attention. He’s food-motivated, which makes him eager to learn and easy to train. He gets along well with other dogs, so he can also be adopted as a second dog.

However, Mark does have some boundaries, and one of them is related to nail trimming and handling. He is not fond of having his nails cut or being treated in certain ways, and he may react if pushed too far. This is something to keep in mind, especially if you have children in the family. If kids are not respectful of his boundaries, Mark may not be the best fit.

Mark is a wonderful companion, walking perfectly on a leash and offering a sense of security to other dogs, especially anxious ones. His loving nature and positive energy bring joy to everyone around him.

All dogs at Hopeland are vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and neutered when they reach the appropriate age.
