Marika

Our Marika developed into such a great dog at Hopeland, but she has a bad past behind her. Marika was abandoned and left behind by her former owner with her 10 puppies. Suddenly she was completely on her own, but luckily she was found and taken to Hopeland. When she got there, she was just a skeleton. Her former owner starved her and mistreated her. Since Marika is very afraid when someone picks up a broom, we assume that she used to be beaten with it.

But Marika was able to put all that behind her. In Hopeland she was properly nurtured and has gained weight healthily. She also has dirofilariae, which was treated.

Marika shows herself to be an extremely loving dog lady who shows you nothing but love. She is very well socialized and gets along well with the many other dogs in Hopeland. Marika has a friendly, open-minded nature and likes to be cuddled. She is easy going, and is comfortable walking with a leash. All of these qualities she is now able to share with her new forever family in her own loving home.
