The resilient Hope was hit by a car and damaged her spine, she was then transferred to a public shelter. However, unfortunately in some public shelters, the care of the dogs is minimal and they do not survive. With Hope being disabled, she was not living a comfortable life and was very skinny, and had many wounds. Luckily, she was taken to Hopeland, and over time we have seen her have to ability to grow and get better. Today, she is one of the queens of Hopeland and has a big character. Although Hope is a wonderful dog, she can be difficult because she attacks the face when she becomes angry. However, once you gain this queen’s trust she is a lovely dog but caution should be taken. She enjoys her daily walks and sleeping in the sun. Sometimes she can become angry as it is difficult with so many dogs around. Therefore, We believe that in a home environment, she would be an amazing dog and guardian. She knows how to walk with a leash in her wheelchair. Because she is disabled and has spinal issues, she feels pain in her spine and needs to take a painkiller every day and she needs to eat special food to prevent infections. She is around 20kg.
