Faith

Our lovely Faith has already experienced a lot in her short life. She was found near a soccer field in a small Greek village, right near the Hopeland animal shelter. When Natasa, the manager of Hopeland, found Faith there, completely terrified, it was obvious something was wrong. It seems that Faith had simply been abandoned with a broken jaw. When we found her, her mouth didn’t work—she couldn’t eat, bark, or live without pain. Luckily, Faith was taken straight to Hopeland, where she got the medical help she needed right away. Since that, our brave girl had to walk a long path. Faith has already overcome so much, but now she’s just undergone her fourth surgery. An infected gland in her mouth had formed a painful lump that had to be removed. While the surgery saved her, it left her mouth crooked—a visible scar of the battles she has fought. But Faith doesn’t let her scars define her. At Hopeland, Faith has already overcome many of her fears and is impressing everyone with her sweet and cheerful personality. Faith is a great companion who loves to go on walks. She is a living testament to strength and unconditional love. She is the kindest, most joyful soul, radiating love and beauty from the inside out. Her strength inspires us every single day.

Faith has given her heart to the world despite everything she’s endured. Let’s give her the love and support she so deeply deserves.
